Acupuncture: Thriving or Surviving. Journey to the West at Acupuncture Council for Ireland conference.
Earlier this month, Journey to the West was screened in Dublin at an event organised by Acupuncture Council for Ireland (ACI), The British Acupuncture Council (BAaC) and Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association (AFPA). The film screened at the Odeon Point Square in Dublin with a discussion following led by interviewee and President Emeritus of The British Acupuncture Council, Jasmine Uddin. It was an impactful discussion that delved into the pivotal question on whether acupuncture is thriving or surviving at this current moment.

Extended Trailer at The British Acupuncture Council Conference
We're very excited to be presenting an extended trailer and Q and A for our film at this year's British Acupuncture Council Conference. "The theme for 2022 is Meeting Points. From the theory of Chinese medicine, we have jiāohuìxué 交会穴 the meeting points of two or more meridians. There are also the bāmài jiāohuìxué 八脉交会穴, the meeting points of the eight extraordinary vessels, and the bāhuìxué 八会穴, the eight meeting-hui points." - (British Acupuncture Council). This will be a great opportunity to bring members of the acupuncture community together to screen an extended trailer of our film and to discuss the past, present and future of acupuncture in the UK at a Q and A with one of the film's participants, Felicity Moir, programme lead of acupuncture courses at The University of Westminster (1996 - 2019).
The conference is being held from 16th - 18th September with the extended trailer screening on the night of the Friday the 16th.
